Three classical tafsirs — in the original text

New

From beginner to scholar level.

Al-Baghawi (d. 516 AH) — brief and moderate, for getting started; Ibn Kathir (774 AH) — the primary work explaining the Qur'an through the Qur'an and authentic hadith; al-Tabari (310 AH) — a source of the words of the Companions and Followers, with chains of transmission. The texts are taken from OpenITI's open editions, and every package is verified with a checksum — the tafsir text is never written from memory or by AI. You choose the book order and default book yourself.
